Back in April we closed on the sale of our home in Meridian. We wondered if it wasn't selling because we would end up moving back to it one day, so there it sat empty and waiting. After 9 long months, much to our relief, it finally sold.

Braxton misses our "long stairs".

Eli and Easton miss our yard filled with all that green grass.

I miss my vaulted great room.

And Brandon misses the bathtub. He actually has had a personal vendeta against taking a bath in the home we are in now, not that he's a big bather type, but he says he doesn't want "to cheat on our other tub." I haven't asked him if he feels differently now that someone else is living there and it is being used regularly.
Yes, we miss our Meridian home, but look forward to finding a home of our own now in Vegas, we'll see how long it takes us to find just the right one.
Yeah, we thought you might be moving back too. :) Funny about Brandon and the tub. We missed Eli last week at the 3rd grade program. The theme was "A Musical Journey Around The World." His class went Irish and sang "Danny Boy." The boys wore green bow ties and green caps. I think Eli would have enjoyed it. It was a great program. Yesterday was Camp Skeeter for the 3rd grade. The first thing Ryan said was, "Eli would have really liked that." Each class tie-dyed t-shirts and had summer camp-like activities and lots of treats to make up for the lack of b-day treats. The kindergarten program is this afternoon. Are you guys out of school for the year?
ReplyDeleteHi Chandy, I just found your blog via Mindy's. You have such a cute family. Good luck with the house hunting.
ReplyDeleteWhat a beautiful home! I am so glad that it finally sold - although I am sure it is a little sad too. That is so funny about Brandon & the 'tub'! LOL!
ReplyDeleteWhat?? You mean you're really not moving back?? We miss you guys!
