Eli and a team of his classmates had an assignment to choose an animal to build from scratch. They were to include modern day "simple machines" to represent several of the body parts: the brain was a floppy disk, the kidneys were made out of sponges, the stomach was a soda can, an asthma inhaler for the heart, plastic bags for the lungs, etc. Here is their giraffe. They enjoyed painting and assembling the animal and it was displayed in the hall (with a few others) to celebrate the school's dedication festivities.
Hey Chandy & family - I Love the science project! What a creative little guy you have. I just had to say hello and that I am SORRY for being the WORST friend in the UNIVERSE! I never called to wish you a happy birthday in April..and here it June..and I still haven't picked up the phone to wish you a happy 32nd! I hope you are doing well and maybe when you come for the wedding, we can meet for a quick lunch and celebrate yours and Summer's birthdays. I Love you tons! Thanks for being my forever friend (even when I forget to call you on your birthday)!
